To the Cheering Squad.

I'm humbled by the outpouring of support I received after announcing I quit my job. The love came in many forms including comments to my last post, phone calls, texts, emails, hand written cards, pats on the back, visits to my home, and flowers.

Thank you.

Although I'm still anxious about this decision, it's nice to know people are cheering for me. Sometimes, the world and the people in it are pretty great. Actually, I'm sure that's true more often than just "sometimes." I need to remember that more often. And I need to try more to contribute to that goodness because it feels pretty fantastic to be on the receiving end.
