Women of Utah (and elsewhere, like Fresno and Kentucky)...

I bring you The Bumpit.

Just imagine the time you’ll save teasing or back-combing your hair! Miss Kentucky America, Denise Yate, says The Bumpit is “without a doubt, the easiest, fastest, and cleanest product I’ve used that makes me and my hair so happy.” This is for real.

Okay, I’m not bringing you The Bumpit. Kelly, the hair stylist is.

Kenny and I stumbled across this little commercial gem while channel surfing in our hotel room last week after an incredible, but exhausting day of snowboarding in Mammoth. We were shocked, awed, stunned, and amazed. And really excited to share it. Because, Dear Reader, we want you to be shocked, awed, stunned, and amazed, too. Go here and make sure to watch the video. Your visit should bring at least 10 minutes of pure, judgmental fun for all! (And, yes, the website really is "Big Happy Hair [dot] com." Like it could get any better.)

For now, I'll wish you all a fun, safe, and enjoyable weekend or, in the words of the company’s 'Chief Executive Optimist:'

"Have a happy hair day!”

My old hair guy used to use syrafoam to make girls hair bigger. I do love that you can use one or two Bumpits. And what's with spelling happy "Happie". So weird...but I'm sure if I saw the infommercial I would want one.

I'm speechless. But somehow I feel the urge to buy one and be one of the "happie" bumpy-headed people. Love the commercial Jill.

So I clicked and I watched. And then I said it out loud. "Holy shit". I know, terrible. But I just couldn't believe what I was seeing. Sorry.

I live in this weird place where people use things like that. Get me out of here.

Thank heavens I don't fall into the "Women of Utah" category and I don't (and actually have never) done my hair like that. I never quite understood it.

I am so glad you appreciate this commercial as much as me. I was at a class the other day and the teacher TOTALLY had to have had one in her hair. I laughed my ass off.

I'm speechless. Wow! I wish I could say that really isn't Utah hair but I see it around me all too often.

I would be an ungrateful person if I didn't comment on this post. I thought I was the king of infomercials and had seen them all, but I stand corrected. This was truly amazing. I'm hoping that if I call in the next 5 minutes that they will double my order and throw in a food dehydrator. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the chuckle. Pretty amazing- I need the mini for my bangs.
